Daniela Padilla Nino, handmade boutique, Casa DPN by Daniela Padilla Nino

DPN by Daniela Padilla Nino was founded in Valledupar, Colombia, 2013 as Daniela’s mom idea to pursue a hobby and to explode the talent to play with textures, colors and materials.

Daniela came to United States as part of an exchange program in 2017. As she made friendships, people saw her talent and her fashion taste and would always ask where the jewelry came from because there was nothing similar in the U.S.

Daniela and saw the opportunity to start from scratch. Rebuilding her business and herself made her embrace her culture, her beliefs, admire and love others and realize how unique and essential people are created. It made her speak her mind. Made her passionate and determined to show it through her jewelry as a message of confidence, love and opportunity to every customer and every member who is part of the process.

Daniela is now a single mom who works hard to keep pursuing her dreams, to provide and to raise her son in a safe environment. She desires to transfer all the richness of her Colombian side and add the good part of the U.S culture to then raise a man who loves, respects and values diversity and who admires and becomes an honored and a hardworking person.

As a foreign she values and respect handmade and multicultural work. Daniela can easily connect with people and since she began her brand, Daniela believed that helping others is a must. She works as a Paralegal helping people in the U.S to claim their rights by using her skills in Law and also helps when there is a language barrier by translating and helping those who are not able to speak English. But that is not all…

Daniela strongly believes that giving back and making a positive difference in her community back home is really important, which is why a percentage of all the profits go to FUNCEDOWN in her hometown Valledupar, Colombia. A Fundraiser that supports Down syndrome kids.
